How is pricing determined?

Customer chooses design - that becomes your "embroidery
cost". Customer then chooses an item to be embroidered on
(clothing, Christmas stocking, etc) - that becomes your "item
cost"
. Shipping/handling and taxes (if in MN) are then added to
that amount
for your total amount due. In instances where the
customer requests modification of a design (resizing
within allowances, change in design colors, etc., there may be a
small additional fee.

A flat fee of $5.00 is charged for embroidery of pet names only
If a customer wants a name embroidered along with the design,
I add the total stitch count which ends up saving you some
money. If additional questions, please use contact form.

What payment(s) do you
accept?
Payment options are: (1) check, (2) cash
(3) secure credit card processing via) PayPal (you can pay as a "guest").
Do you provide embroidery
from the photo of a pet?
That refers to "digitizing" (creating the embroidery file from a
photo"). Due to time and skill restrictions, I subcontract for that
option. Fees are determined by either 1) time committed or
2) stitch count per the preference of the digitizer. I have several
people lined up for digitizing services and I only order via
evidence of quality work. If the customer permits the end-product
to be used as a "stock design", there is sometimes a significant
discount. Please allow an average of 7-10 days extra for digitizing.
Can you change the color
of a design?
It is optimal if you can send me a photo (either digital or snail
mail) of your pet. If color change is a simple one (for example,
just one or two colors, I do not charge extra. If, however,
request is to change the entire coloration of a pet's fur that
requires more work and validation on my part. A small fee of
$4.00-$6.00 would then apply.

Can I have embroidery done
on an item of my own?
For the most part, yes. Please e-mail me with details of item
(fabric content, thickness, etc). If item has cotton in it, I strongly
recommend prewashing/ironing. Customer would then send
item to me at their expense.
Do you embroider on caps? Unfortunately, not at this time.
What is turn-around time for
delivery?

I process orders based on the date I receive the order with payment.
My goal is to ship out the completed product within 7-10 days but, of
course, there are seasonal issues (pre-Christmas) where
timeline might be somewhat longer.

Do you ship overseas or to Canada? I ship to the 50 states and will ship to Canada. Canadian customers are responsible for customs duty fees and payment needs to be made so as to allow for exchange rates.. I do not ship to Europe, Asia, etc.
Do you provide gift certificates? Yes, I provide gift certificates in any amount equal ot or greater than $10.00
Some of your designs
are described as
photostitch. What is that?
Photostitch is a method of digitizing whereby a digitizer
creates a realistic "fur" by manually punching the stitches
Some of your designs
are described as
free-standing lace.
What is that?
Free-standing lace is a method by which the digitizer
creates a design using thread only. A special
stabilizer is used such that once I sew out the completed design,
I wash out the stabilizer, stiffen it via a spray product
and the end-product is an ornament, a piece of jewelry, a bookmark
a sew-on, limited only by your imagination.
What is an embossed design? Embossed designs are created whereby the threads form an outline and the primary fabric "stands out"' as the shape. Embossed designs look best on plush fabric (towels, fleece, etc.)
